UNION – GRAND RAPIDS

About this project

Our Union Ave. renovation in the Alger Heights neighborhood of Grand Rapids was one of our favorite projects.  The seller of this property approached us about buying it because there was significant water damage in the basement and due to this, they owed more on the house than what it was worth.  They had two mortgages that needed to be negotiated prior to being able to sell the property.  We were able to help them negotiate with their lender and the lender accepted an amount less than what was owed on the mortgages.  Once negotiations were complete, the seller was able to sell the property to us, get rid of their mortgages, and move on with life. We brought this mid-century modern charmer back to life with improvements that not only preserved the mid-century modern style of the house but added modern functionality.
